I am a cybersecurity leader with over 20 years of experience leading Fortune 200 companies in medical devices and pharmaceuticals. Along with that, I have a Master's degree in Computer Science Information Assurance and Security and hold several recognized Information Security certifications, including the following: CISSP, GCFA, GWAPT, and CEH. Also, I am a founder of Semilla Cyber Foundation whose mission is to develop high-quality professionals in the field of cyber security with the interpersonal and practical skills to protect our country and the world.
Abstract:
First, this talk concerns my last three years of experience implementing a global red team program in a Fortune 200 company. In this talk, I will introduce the red team concept and explain the topics: what is a red team, and what is not a red team, how to define/sync the red team process between Incident Response, Threat Hunting, Cyber Threat Intelligence, how to use Cyber Kill Chain, MITRE ATT&CK Framework to develop your red team engagements. In addition, how to develop your red team maturity model, develop and keep engaging your red team operators, measure success, and present to your leadership.
